Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet rich plasma

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) uses your own cells to rejuvenate the face and slow down the aging process*.

As well as assisting blood clotting, platelets also release growth factors that assist the human body to repair itself by stimulating cells to regenerate new tissue. Platelet rich plasma can easily be separated from a small sample of blood, through a process of centrifugation.

PRP can be used to rejuvenate the face, including improving fine-moderate wrinkles from sun-damage. Common areas treated include around the eyes, the cheeks, the neck, décolletage and back of the hands, as well as other areas such as skin around the knees, elbows and abdomen.

PRP can be combined with other rejuvenation treatments such as lasers and skin needling.

Improvement of skin hydration, tone and texture occur after the treatment, with medical grade skin care and light therapy enhancing the results.
