Neck Laser Treatment
Many people focus their attention on looking after their face, but the neck and décolletage are equally important to protect and treat to stay feeling and looking youthful for longer.
At Infinity Skin Clinic, we use one of two different technologies to administer neck laser treatment solutions specific to different needs: improving skin texture or tightening loose skin.
For Skin Texture: Fraxel Laser Treatment
If you would like to improve the texture of the skin on your neck, we recommend our medical grade Fraxel DUAL Laser treatment. This is particularly beneficial for skin that has been damaged through sun exposure or has an uneven skin tone due to age. The Fraxel DUAL laser treatment provides the best textural improvement of any laser available on the market today. This medical grade laser produces better results than those used at clinics run by beauty therapists, who do not have access to this particular technology.
Duration – a Fraxel DUAL Laser treatment takes 30 minutes. It is recommended to have three treatments one month apart for best skin texture results, with pigmentation often being corrected in just a single session.
What to Expect – Fraxel DUAL Laser treatments improve skin tone and texture, tighten skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles as well as treat brown pigmentation spots.
For Skin Tightening: Thermage® Laser Treatment
If your primary concern is the laxity of skin on your neck, then a Thermage® Laser treatment is ideally suited to tighten up this skin. Thermage® is used mainly for addressing skin laxity rather than skin texture improvement.
Duration – treatment takes one hour. Just one treatment – rather than a series – is recommended.
What to expect – A Thermage® Laser treatment helps to tighten and lift the skin. Skin biopsy studies show there is always more collagen produced in the skin following this treatment, so it helps to slow down the ageing process every time.
After having either of the above-mentioned neck laser treatments, it is best to allow two to three days before resuming work and your normal activity.
Both lasers have been used for the past decade and are firmly established as the gold standard in aesthetic medicine. They have proven efficacy and safety, with over 700,000 Fraxel treatments and over a million Thermage® treatments having been performed worldwide.
Naturally, in all cases, we recommend protecting your neck by using appropriate UV sunscreens and hydrating skin care to maintain the good results.
